This is a street photography project that was conducted weekly to document the daily life in the streets of Kuala Lumpur, inspired by my lecturer Mr. Che’ Ahmad Azhar’s works.
These photographs are also used as submissions for my university assignment back in 2014. I find a lot of enjoyment when I explore and wandered around the streets of Kuala Lumpur while capturing everything that I find interesting. I wrote about this in my blog back in 2014, looking back I feel that street photography indeed helped me a lot to grow as a person and as a photographer.
"I was wandering around Kampung Baru yesterday.. then to Chow kit, and unexpectedly bumped into my lecturer Chemad twice. haha. Heavily inspired by his "Walk of Life" series, I feel like doing more street photography/documentary during my free time on weekends. I don't know where this genre is going to lead me to, but I personally believe that this genre will push my limit in photography in terms of compositing and timing, while giving me new experiences, encountering and meeting with random strangers around the street.." 5/1/2014
