As a solo digital creator, I came to an important realisation, my amount of media files and works stretching back to 2012 had been accumulating across various external platforms organised loosely by time and largely dependent on servers I do not have access to. This year I am learning to take proper ownership of my archive starting by self-categorising everything like a digital librarian, naming them properly and backing it up offline across hard drives (Offline); housing it properly on my Pixpa platform (Online). I am aware that for someone with over a decade worth of work behind them, this is not just good practice.. it is a Professional Responsibility.
1. Designing the look and feel of all pages intuitively, working with the built-in templates and layers available within the Pixpa platform to shape the overall UI and UX.
2. Crafting the copywriting for every page with the assistance of Claude and an AI text humaniser, a practical approach to keeping the process moving efficiently as a solo operator who thinks and writes primarily in a language other than English.
3. Weaving targeted SEO keywords into the existing copy across every page, informed by prior market research rather than guesswork.
4. Mapping out a clear workflow by reverse-engineering my own intuitive design and working method, breaking it down into its component parts so that each element can be properly delegated when the time and resources allow, and potentially applied to client projects down the line.
In the past, my website existed primarily as a short-term tool, something just to present to clients and prospective leads. It is built for quick impression rather than longevity. This time, my intention is different. My goal is to build a proper online home base, a place where my work is properly stored, organised, and presented with care for the long run.
My focus this time is on building genuine SEO, AIO, and GEO presence organically over the next twelve years, not chasing quick visibility but laying down roots that compound over time through consistent, targeted strategy. The foundation for this comes from hands-on knowledge gained during my time at Zoewebs, combined with self-directed learning through SEMrush resources and YouTube.

1. Prior to 2025, my website existed purely as a short-term showcase as there was no long-term thinking behind it. The copywriting across the pages was not crafted with any real intention, and keyword targeting was not something I had approached properly at all. My mindset at the time was built around full reliance on social media platforms as the primary channel for reaching potential clients, with the website serving little more than a supporting role.
2. I was caught in a cycle of chasing social media metrics... followers, likes, views, perpetually in a state of FOMO, jumping from one trend to the next in pursuit of visibility. In that constant forward rush, I lost sight of something far more fundamental: organising and backing up my own work properly onto physical drives, and archiving it on a platform I actually owned and controlled.
3. The majority of images already uploaded to the website were not handled with any real care, filenames were inconsistent, sizing had not been properly considered and keyword tagging was largely absent.
4. The vast majority of my inbound traffic had always come through social media platforms, and in focusing on that, I had completely overlooked the power of Google organic search and the long-term value of SEO, AIO, and GEO. It was only after my brief full-time work experience that I began to truly grasp what consistent, well-targeted organic search presence can build over time. From here on, the goal is to find a sustainable balance between paid visibility which had previously meant social media platforms almost exclusively and organic reach that compounds quietly in the background without ongoing spend.
For my current personal situation offline I am juggling various tasks altogether at once, I am only allocating 50% of my energy on the project here daily. So unlike proper client projects, spontaneity and changes in strategy as time passes is expected as my personal situation offline is evolving #grateful.
My base structure:
1. All media assets and files must be tidied or at least basically categorized in hard drives first (done in Jan & Feb 2026).
2. Organise offline image folders with SEO-friendly naming conventions.
3. Publish once all base content is in place even if it is not perfect, then update progressively.
4. Add a visible progress log page so returning visitors know the site is actively being built and updated daily, a one-person operation, done with intention.
